my philosophy

A shooting athlete generally invests considerable money in guns, equipment, travel costs, etc., but usually nothing for coaching. He or she keeps running in circles, trying to succeed without a defined direction and, of course, wasting unnecessary money and time with this trial and error method. My specialization is Olympic Air Pistol Shooting, and I help my athletes find the most direct route to success.

01

Reality Redefined.

My coaching is done primarily online, via my email address (sillintercoach@yahoo.com). As training progresses on a daily basis, the athletes send me progress reports and comments, including video and photos of targets. I respond with personalized feedback and guidance. This system works so well that the analysis of the athlete’s comments, combined with images of the targets, can give to both of us the impression that I am present for all of the athlete’s training sessions.

What Sets Air pistol shooting academy Apart

Here is a comment from one of my athletes:

“Thank you for your encouraging comments and feedback about my live-fire exercises and general progress.  I will admit that I was a little skeptical at first whether coaching via email, video and still photos could work, but I am convinced that it is working very, very well.  I so much appreciate your guidance along my path to elite shooting athlete, and I recognize that we still have much work to do!”

aim higher, train smarter

An air pistol shooting athlete can have different ambitions: from beginning Juniors to club champions to Olympians, I’m ready to support all of them. However, the level of the goal, combined with the determination of the athlete, must be proportional to the hard work that the athlete puts in. Unfortunately, there are no short cuts to victory and I don’t have any magic tricks, either. The recipe for success is good equipment, good coaching, and hard work.
